
Dr. Alisha Russ is originally from St. Petersburg, Florida and received her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami. She obtained her doctorate of chiropractic degree and was salutatorian of her graduating class at Life Chiropractic College West in the San Francisco bay area. Her radiology residency was at Parker University in Dallas with an emphasis in Musculoskeletal radiology. Following residency she served as an assistant professor of radiology and later as the Director of Clinical Radiology at Parker University. In addition to teaching, Dr. Russ has over a decade of experience in musculoskeletal radiology private practice. She explains, "I am grateful for the trust that referring clinicians place in me to accurately interpret their patient's studies. I value efficient and effective communication so that providers feel confident in the diagnosis and implications for patient care. Referring providers appreciate that I am always willing to discuss cases with them so that they are best equipped with the information they need to serve their patients."
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Russ has served as vice-president and president of the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (ACBR) and is currently the Radiology Lead Advisor for MSK Readers. She is also a member of the American Chiropractic College of Radiology (ACCR) and the Texas Chiropractic Association (TCA).
Dr. Russ lives in the Dallas area with her husband, two children, and rescue-pup Luna. She spends most weekends courtside, cheering on her kids in select basketball. She delights in travel and is always working on plans for the next family adventure.
